Standards Development Organization (SDO) Administrator (Volunteer), Standards Solutions Branch
An SDO administrator is an employee of an organization, or part thereof, accredited by SCC that accepts responsibility for the development, approval, publication and maintenance of standards
An SDO administrator may represent one of the interest groups in a Standards Council of Canada mirror committee (SMC) which includes the following categories: academic and research bodies, consumer and public interest, government, industry and commerce, labour unions, non-governmental organizations, standards application organizations, standards development organizations.
SCC Mirror Committee members that are staff employed by SCC-accredited SDOs are not eligible for reimbursement for travel expenses under SCC’s program policy CAN-P-2018
