Health Canada’s Consumer Product Safety Directorate (CPSD) has played a significant role in promoting the use of standards among safety regulators and stakeholders. By supporting the development of new standards, policies and ISO/IEC Guides, CPSD has helped suppliers increase the safety of consumer products as well as the safety of vulnerable groups. CPSD’s commitment and support to standardization has involved all staff, from the Director General’s Office, to individuals across Canada who participate in national standardization activities.
On behalf of the Consumer Product Safety Directorate, the Corporate Commitment Award award was accepted by Tina Green, Director General, Consumer Product Safety Directorate.
