A Senior Program Officer works in the Standards Council of Canada (SCC)'s Conformity Assessment division. Key duties include preparing, performing and/or overseeing and reporting on the assessment, auditing, reassessment and witness audits of quality management systems registration organizations. Their work also means exchanging information with several scientific and engineering professionals in various industries in order to ensure the SCC's accreditation programs continue to meet national and international requirements.
