The Joint Technical Committee (JTC) is a technical committee established through a joint effort between the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The JTC and its subcommittees focus on the development, maintenance, promotion and facilitation of information technology (IT) standards.
