ISO's Council governs the organization's operations. Its Council consists of the principal officers and 18 elected member bodies. It is also in charge of appointments, including the Treasurer and Chairmen of policy development committees. ISO Council sets the annual budget of the ISO Central Secretariat. The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is the Canadian member body at ISO.
