The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the American Society for Quality (ASQ) formed the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) in January 2005. It replaced the ANSI-RAB National Accreditation Program. The SCC has signed a Multilateral Cooperative Accreditation Agreement with ANAB, the Japan Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment (JAB), and the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ).
