The Asian Accredited Certification Body Federation (AACBF), established in 2006, is a self-regulatory forum that ensures certification services in the Asia Pacific region are consistent with similar services in other regions. The organization acts as a leader to guide development and support the certification industry. The AACBF and the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) are both members of the Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC), an association of accreditation bodies whose efforts facilitate trade and commerce in the Asia Pacific. AACBF is an associate member of PAC, while SCC is a full member of PAC.
