Effective immediately, all laboratories must now refer to SCC Guidelines for the Presentation of Laboratory Scopes of Accreditation and cease referring to CAN-P-1570 - Appendix A - Guidelines for the Presentation of Scopes - June 2010. The new document is available here: https://www.scc.ca/en/about-scc/publications/exigences-et-procedures-accreditation/scc-guidelines-for-presentation-laboratory-scopes-accreditation
This change affects accredited and applicant laboratories, as well as SCC assessors.
This change was made as part of SCC’s overall QMS modernization project.
The content of the guidelines have not changed, only the formatting has been updated to be consistent with SCC’s approach for these documents. References have also been updated.
This change is effective immediately. Customers are asked to update their documentation as soon as possible.
