As you are aware, in September of 2015 the new version of ISO/IEC 17021-1 Conformity assessment -- Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems -- Part 1: Requirements was published. As part of their plan to transition their scheme towards the new requirements, the Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI) will be implementing new changes to its program.

Management Systems Accreditation Program – Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) Certification Bodies (CBs) only,
The new SFI 2015-2019 Standards and Rules went into effect on January 1st, 2015, and SFI Program Participants have been given 1 year to implement all new and revised requirements, and Program Participants must demonstrate conformance to the new requirements at their first surveillance audit following the implementation period. For SCC-accredited CBs certifying under SFI, the following timelines shall apply:
