The purpose of this document is to provide additional requirements and guidance for test laboratories conducting device testing for connected vehicle communications. V2X devices allow vehicles to autonomously communicate with other vehicles and roadside units. V2X is a commonly used technology for addressing cooperative intelligent transportation systems (C-ITS) between vehicle to vehicle (V2V) and vehicle to infrastructure (V2I) to achieve optimization of various transportation parameters.
