These resources highlight the value and importance of standardization and compliance programs in Canada and abroad and provide information about the benefits of using standards, as well as how to find and apply standards, and how to influence the content of new standards development.

- European Committee for Standardization (CEN), the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) has an online tool for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) who want to learn about how standards can help them succeed.
- American National Standards Institute (ANSI) hosts several instructor-led courses, web-based training, and virtual workshops. ANSI also has a website with educational tools on standards conformity and assessment.
