Help SCC validate standardization priorities for Canada's energy and electrical engineering sector - nationally, regionally and internationally.
CEO of the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) John Walter is hosting a forum for senior leaders representing Canada’s Energy and Electrical Engineering sector. We are seeking input from Canadian executives and leaders to explore and identify this sector's strategic standardization priorities now and in the future.
This workshop will also be attended by key members of Canada’s electrotechnical community including Jacques Régis, former President of the IEC, and Ed Tymofichuk, newly elected as Canada’s Council Board member at IEC. At this forum, attendees will be led through a facilitated discussion to finalize the validation of key challenges, opportunities and priorities industry leaders in this sector have identified. SCC will engage participants in areas such as safety, trade, infrastructure, technology, cyber security, human resources and regulation.
Standardization holds great promise to boost Canada's competitiveness and safeguard the health and safety of its citizens. Your input at our forum will help us strengthen and coordinate Canada's standardization network and improve Canadians' quality of life.
Support standardization, and discover what it can do for your sector.
