2013-03-04

Environment Canada has released its 2012 Progress Report on the Federal Sustainable Development Strategy (FSDS), a strategy in which the Standards Council of Canada's Northern Infrastructure Standardization Initiative (NISI) plays an important role.

The 2012 FSDS progress report outlines the most recent actions that the federal government has taken to support environmental sustainability and highlights what has been accomplished to date. It includes approximately 40 indicators that measure how progress is being made in key areas of environmental performance, such as climate change, conservation and clean air.

SCC is a federal partner under the Clean Air Agenda Program, with the Northern Infrastructure Standardization Initiative.
