Kathryn Coll is President and Managing Partner for HR Atlantic. HR Atlantic has been effecting positive change in workplaces since 1998.
As President and Managing Partner of HR Atlantic, Kathryn balances firm management responsibilities with her own vibrant practice. Kathryn helps clients to build on their own strengths to achieve growth and success, and one vehicle she uses is her performance accountability learning series she delivers to leaders and managers across Canada. Kathryn also leads clients through HR strategies to address critical workplace issues such as engagement and retention, workplace assessments and harassment investigations. Kathryn’s solid and practical advice guides organizations through tough workplace situations.
Before joining HR Atlantic in 2001, Kathryn held executive positions with responsibility for human resource management and labour relations for two large organizations in Ontario. Kathryn launched her career with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University, a Masters in Industrial Relations from Queen’s University, and a Certificate in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University. She is additionally trained to deal with mental health and performance issues in the workplace.
Kathryn served for ten years on the Board of the Greater Charlottetown and Area Chamber of Commerce, serving as President in 2012, and presently serves on the Board of the Charlottetown Airport Authority, as a Governor for the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council (APEC) and is a founding member of the Atlantic Canada Chapter of the international Women’s Presidents Organization (WPO).
